This really reminds me of an image I saw in an Art Nouveau book. I love the way you use curvey, sinuous lines, it adds such a subtle movement to the piece.

how large is the actual piece?
your series reminds me of Alphonse Mucha's work. he took seasons, times of day, moons, precious stones, etc. and made a girl represent each of them. example: [link] is " 'Moon' from The Four Stars " not the best picture of it, but i couldn't find a good one. look him up if you're interested. great artist..

This is such an elegant piece. I love the shade of blue that you used here, and that crescent moon she is holding in her hands was a nice touch too.
Strangely enough, I think her hair reminds me of the whorls of a nautilus shell.
