The position of and body language of the muse in this pic is especially endearing and passionate. You really do get the feeling that the muse in this painting indeed wishes to inspire the figure in the painting. I would like to think she is behind me whenever I play my music or write my poetry

I must say I LOVE YOUR WORK!!! It is absolutely stunning. May I ask what your technique is? Do you wash the complete page first and then paint the images on top? I've just never seen watercolor as fluent as yours. I use watercolors as well but am not nearly as successful with the final image. Thanks for the help

I actually wrote up a whole step-by-step process for this entire piece that will be included in the book I'm writing (on how to draw and paint with watercolors). It will probably be available late 2007.
