This is stunning, absolutely gorgeous. Reminds me of being pregnant last year, especially what you've written beneath. I won't ask what the inspiration was....

That's just amazing! I love the sort of dull colours of green-ish (I think?) with the vibrant red/pink-ish =] Is she pregnant? It looks really beautiful to see the belly all stretched out with the mother holding on to her unborn child lovingly <3 The details are astounding as well~ The face of a troll or what it was (That one near the ground of just a face in the detail pictures) kind of creepy but thrilling in the detail of it^^ I think 'great' doesn't quite do it all but I'm sleepy, haha (:

Well it's not meant to be her belly, it's an orb she's cradling.

I love all the faces you snuck in there. I feel like I could look at this picture again and again and still find something new.

-le sigh- gorgeous as always. Wonderful use of contrasting colors; the butterflies=WIN. And i love the way she blends so well into the elements; camouflaged, but the eye is immediately drawn to her anyway.

Hey, I love all of your posted artworks. How did you learn to draw and paint like that? Its amazing.
Have you ever or thought about taking photos of your works as you go along? I would love to see how you start a piece and your process throughout.
Thanks

Mostly self taught for watercolors, though I've taken lots of art classes when growing up. And yes, I do have several tutorials (and a book) here [link]

This is beautiful. Your art is magic!!!
PS:I love your book covers on Catherine Asaro's books. I was sad when her new book "Night Bird" didn't have your art on the cover! It even makes the book less enjoyable.

I love the very whimsical feel I get while looking at this. I expecially like how there are a lot of elements and details within the drawing that you don't notice at first. It's very beautiful and I can really see the love you put into it.

I have ALWAYS loved fantasy drawings/paintings/etc. that somehow combine a being and a tree. I have tried to make pictures like that, in vain. This picture helps inspire! No WAYYY would I EVER get it to look as cool as yours and I would NEVER copy an artist's work! I just mean this picture gives me some ideas. It's beautiful and I love the bursts of red from the butterflies. Very mysterious!
