I tried this once before - Drilled A Wire..

I am not as happy with this as I could be. I had this whole huge vision in my head about how this should look but nothing I was doing was coming out right. Props to ~michealgrin for being so damn patient with all that wire.
I think the lighting in this shot is my signature lighting at this point - and it is only accomplished in my bathroom. That bathroom has seen so much fake blood by this point it probably thinks it's an artery.

Full view is suggested, though I didn't want to upload a bigger version of this, as I'm going to revisit this again, most likely.

The wires wouldn't stay, especially the one in the mouth, the blood was purple, it's 2am so it was a little late for considering photographs in the first place, the bathroom is the only decent lighting in my house so it was aggravating trying to find a comfortable distance between myself and the subject, as it's a small bathroom - the list goes onnnn and onnn - and this isn't how I wanted it to turn out, though I do like it
I'm just glad someone else does too!

did you use a color gel to modify the light?

Nope - that lighting is just what it is, it's the best place for me to shoot in my entire house, and it's such a limited space that it really sucks But I love the way pictures come out when they are taken against the walls - dilemma

The bathroom is awesome for things like lighting, such an enclosed space allows for it to go NOWHERE so you get what you want highlighted
