Description
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

looking through your gallery i'm struck by the wide range of interests and subject matter.
this is remarkable. it could very well serve as reference for a wyeth painting.
that sorta segues back to your diversity in a way. wyeth's work sometimes had a underlying,...hmmm,...strangeness(?) or something
just 'off'. maybe 'creepiness'? heh. when i look at some of your other work it certainly has a bit of creepiness about it.
please don't take offense. i mean all this in a complimentary way.
sheesh.
i should really shut up right?
anyway,...
i'm really enjoying your gallery.
very dynamic.

Beautiful, but ominous. I love photos that tell a good story.

This is one of those shots that really fuel the imagination. I could see someone coming across the field through the fog, and wondering if they were real, or an apparition. Fog pictures are always so interesting to me. Very nice.

Fog is just interesting in itself. It wraps, and holds, and hugs, and creeps - it's totally a living entity.

So far I've seen only some trailers, but it kind of reminds me of the Woman in Black, weren't there such huge and empty marshes? When I was going home this afternoon (1.5 hour on train), there was that irritating kind of rain, which is almost like a fog, but makes me look like a sheep anyway, it looked just like this, except the mailbox (:

I really want to see the Woman in Black - I haven't yet. I'm hoping that there is marshes and scenes like this, fog makes me a very happy lady.

I'm going to see it this week - tomorrow or on Friday, as happily I have no lectures then I'm going with my mother, because my fiance dislikes Radcliffe. Silly reason to miss such promosing film.

Very atmospheric, love it.
Anything that resembles a still from a film is awesome in my books.

OOO I really like this. So ominous and soft lighting. I love that the subject is not the center of the photo yet your eyes are drawn to it. The squiggly stick is awesome as well Great photo

Pretty cool image. Seems familiar and yet ominous. I love how you can make an image of a $10 mailbox not only cool but damn awesome to look at.

A version of this is on Facebook, that might be why it's familiar?
And yeah! It was SO cool seeing it that morning. Such thick fog.

No silly, I mean it seems like it's in or could be from every home town. Warm and welcoming but the fog gives it a dark edge. Cool shit darlin'

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was amazing to see. Around where I live, when it gets foggy, it gets blockbuster movie set kind of foggy
