I usually have to use a tripod when I'm shooting my hands...otherwise I get blurry pics because my arms kind of shake. Because....I'm weak and dumb. or something.

Since I don't have a flip screen, I get frustrated that I can't see what I am working with, so using a tripod usually doesn't solve my problem and I just blindly point and shoot and I go through about 25 pictures that aren't usable and one that is, like this.

Usually, I set it up pretty close, then take shots, and look at it on the screen, then adjust it from that one, until it looks right. it's a slow process but it usually gives pretty solid results.

Sweet precious blood. The problem with working with human blood is that it clots ever so fast, leaving a sticky, goopy mess reminiscent of a smelly sickly sloppy sweet slough of ketchup (or catsup) left splattered on the edge of a paper plate over the weekend.
1. Apply 5ยตL of K+ EDTA anticoagulant to every 10mL of fresh whole blood extracted via venous phlebotomy.
2. ?????
3. Profit.
