Saw ND on Indyplanet and was considering it a couple months back and just found you here by coincidence. Seeing more of the pages has only increased my desire to buy it. How many issues were you expecting for the story? Any chance of a trade collection?

neat! Well the first story arc ends in issue 5 at which point I'll probably shop the book around and or do the kickstarter thingie to get a trade together. We have an idea for the second arc which is roughly to issue 11, but honestly this is something I do as a hobby and even typing the phrase "issue 11" just made me chuckle. We aren't exactly monthly yet ^___^ I have a store up on 17machinestudios.com if you'd rather order the books direct from me. Of course Indy planet is pretty darn cool as well.

Good to know that you've got some long-term plans for the series, even if it might feel like it's really long term. Do you get a higher percentage of the money from your own shop sales? I like making sure the creators get as much of the profit as possible, but if it's about the same, I'll go through IP, since I order other stuff through them anyway.
Oh, and you can do trades through IP, as well; I've bought a couple. So no need to raise funds for it... just have to put the file together. I'm sure that's enough fun all on its own.

thanks! yeah, the profit is the same from either, but if you are doing IP orders then that is the way to go.
The trades are way more expensive than the individual issues for me to get done through IP, but I might do it as a start. Once/if I go national with it I'll have to do a "real" print run. oh to dream! lol

Has a neat, old movie poster style to it. Nicely done here, I think!

Heh heh, they're very neat. It's a style that isn't used nearly often enough for movie posters these days, and they're fun to see what you can find, for sure!
