Undeniably the best. crossover. EVERGames = super fun. Fandoms = awesome. And the character interactions would be great:
Maya + Luke = BFFs, obviously
Layton + Edgeworth = tea buddies
Flora + Pearl = useless adorable sisters
Chelmey + Gumshoe = most incredible detective team ever
Francesca + Legal = they can be crazy together or something
Phoenix + ???

haha definitely! Phoenix gets in enough trouble as it is, but I'm sure Chemley would be accusing him of all sorts of things. And Maya too, seeing as how she gets blamed for crimes in like, every game xD

I know, right? xD What I've seen of Gumshoe seems to put him on part with Chelmey. Of course, I haven't played any PW games before, though I plan to go seek out some good ones before the year is up.

I know, it's despicable. xD But I am planning to start them once I finish school. I just have to find some good ones. Any recommendations for a person with a DS Lite, Gamecube and a Wii? (I have other Nintendo consoles, but all of their games can be played on the Lite or the Wii through VC).
I know, what I've watched of it made me very excited and I was able to pick up on a lot of the small elements of the case rather quickly. It surprised me. xD

Hmm, well obviously, I would recommend the Phoenix and Layton games xP. I'd definitely say start with the first ones in the series, because while you technically can start anywhere, they're very character-heavy and it'd probably be more fun playing chronologically. Also, sometimes those games are difficult to find, so ebay = your friend lol. You can get em for as little as $15 if you're lucky! I just got a DS of my own, so I haven't got many games yet, save for Soul Silver ( pokemon = still awesome ), Phantom Hourglass ( haven't played it yet ) and 358/2 days ( fun, but pretty much the same as KH2 gameplay-wise, but with more Org. XIII, yay ).
As for the Gamecube, I would totally recommend the Paper Mario games if you haven't played them - they look kind of boring but are SO ADDICTING OMIGOD. Also very fun was Mario Kart: Double Dash and the Wind Waker. Dunno if you're into these types of games, but the Metal Gear Solid remake ( Twin Snakes ) is super cool, if not terribly frustrating for people who aren't good at being stealthy. Oh and I've never played Viewtiful Joe, but I've watched my brother play, and it looks pretty interesting.
I don't have a Wii anymore, so I can't really recall many games for that, except that I heard they released Okami for the Wii, which is THE BEST GAME EVUR, SERIOUSLY and I would wholeheartedly recommend that one to /everyone/...you play as the sun goddess Amaterasu ( a wolf ) and you use an ink brush to attack your enemies with various elements. SO AWESOME

Oops, sorry for the bombardment of recommendations xDDD As far as I know, Phoenix games are only for the DS, so when you said Gamecube/Wii recs, I thought you meant in general
