Personality
Don't be fooled by Lemon's bright bubbly looks- behind the girlish freckles and bows she's a cold-hearted, smug, self-absorbed bully. She seems to find entertainment in just making others upset, and when she insults someone, she goes for where it hurts. It's almost hilarious, because she's so cute but so downright mean. Despite her personality, she has a lot of friends, and she's usually surrounded by other "mean girl" types; the things she says are always so funny until they're directed at you. She's able to put on a convincingly kind, saccharine front, though, because of how cutesy she is, and uses this skill to scam unsuspecting ponies out of their money.

Background
Lemon drop is the youngest out of the Pie trio by a few years. Her older and more easygoing siblings, Fluffernutter and Cheese Puff, are twins, and have kind of a special connection with each other; although they loved her, she was always the third wheel, and the baby nobody wanted to play with. Although her parents love her more than anything and always encouraged her siblings to give her a chance, she always felt out of place, and decided to go on her own path altogether. Her need for attention began with this, and in school, she finally got it by setting her sights on becoming popular. She climbed the social ladder, becoming well known for her witty jokes and stinging remarks, and sat smugly at the top with her clique wrapped around her hoof.

She earned her cutie mark when a fellow, shyer student opened a lemonade stand, and Lemon set up her own.. Lemon's stand not only stole all of her competition's customers, but was twice as successful. Sorry, sweets- it's just the smile! She never outgrew her popular girl smugness and overconfidence, and remains just as cutthroat to this day. Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich are so blinded by love for their perfect little candy bear that they never realized the means she took for popularity, and only see it as a complete success. Nowadays, she runs a successful lemonade business.

Relationships
One of Lemon's favorite targets for ridicule was Tuff Love , a lonely orphan who was taken in by Fluttershy. What a weirdo- She practically had a target on her flank! They maintained a fierce rivalry throughout their school years, and even as an adult Tuff still has sour feelings towards Lemon. Lemon Drop, though still cutthroat and rude, has matured since fillyhood, and does regret how badly she teased Tuff. No matter HOW mean you are, you don't bully a scrawny orphan, like come on

As a result of her bullying, she also has a strained relationship with Tuff's best friend, Deadbolt . Deadbolt was one of the few ponies Lemon laid off of a bit, mostly because Deadbolt was always really tall and gave her a black eye that one time, but even she wasn't safe from Lemon's ridicule. Deadbolt never really cared about what Lemon had to say to her, but her protectiveness made her hate Lemon- she made Tuff cry and she was going to pay, dammit

Although her friends tend to come and go, her all-time best friend is Hypnotic Bliss, the fashionable batpony daughter of Treehugger. They've been friends since kindergarten, and Hypnotic is the only person Lemon Drop genuinely cares about. Although they've had fights before, they've never stopped being friends, and as adults they live and own a business together.. Lemon may or may not have a crush on her best friend, and her best friend may or may not have a crush on her.
