A running gag with Rising Star is that she has no idea what her cutie mark means, but she loves it nonetheless and is certain that she'll know what it means someday!! ... Which is funny, because her special talent is just optimism about the future, so she's pretty much already there
I also wanted to draw her in a more updated style! Drawing chubby horses is surprisingly hard
Also, I'm playing with my style a little- what do you all think of the white outlines at the highlights?
I don't think Ry is actually canon in my nextgen story, but I might draw her interacting with some of the characters just for fun because I love her!! She's a cutie pie
