Okay, this is so friggin' detailed and complicated it's HUGE HUGE HUGE!!!!
I'm posting the "small" version, but it's a bit hard to read some of the stuff. If you are actually interested in what it says, you'll either need to download the full sized image from DA.
Anyway, I'm sure nobody's really that interested but I did want to do a "real" reference instead of my crappy half-assed ones.
I might attempt another Chip contest, though probably a more traditional "Draw my character" crap thing. But anyway, I have an official ref to show people now!
Oh yeh, Chip is NOT neuter (he eventually has kids), I just thought it would be rather rude to draw all his naughty bits in. But I didn't feel like drawing underwear on him or something since it was supposed to be a pure body reference.
Oh... In case you didn't notice, I did recycle a few pics because I'm lazy.
Please also note that Chip is (C) to me, so no stealies!!! (not that anybody would want to, but eh!)

Wow, wow! This is awesome, all the detail...! ^_^ I have been working (forever-ish) on full references for my own characters, and have been getting too impatient to do one as thorough as yours. I'm so very impressed~
I really like his "alternate outfit" actually, the casual look really looks good on him. That, and the version of him right by his "staff" info is so gorgeous... really well done with the shading, too, but his outfit also looks great there.
All the color references, the example pictures, the writing... fantastic job. ^_^

I'm glad you like it! It did take me a while, and was really intimidating at first, but once I sat down and actually started to do it it went relatively quickly. I usually am not so thorough, sometimes just having a front, back, and side view of the character with little or no explanation or words, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible with this form of his, esp as it's rather complicated!
I like his more modern day clothes as well! I usually draw him in them as it's easier than his tunic and cape (all the layers gets confusing to draw!)
The outfit he's in next to the staff picture was actually going to be his original outfit, but while it wasn't bad I wanted something a little more fancy for him.

At first it seemed like a lot because I was trying to get an overview of what I needed to draw, but then I started doing each section individually and just drawing out and figuring out what I needed just for that one section.
Though I'm sure I forgot something that should have a whole section! LOL Or a color for something, or a typo, or whatever!
