Description
When Toshio returned from his dive to connect Creideiki to underground exploration drone, Dr Charles Dart told Toshio that the Steno exiles took the radio module from Tom's sled.

This could mean only one thing - Takkata-Jim was bent on disrupting the Streaker escape plan. Toshio knew he had to delay Takkata-Jim's take-off.

Toshio pressed Dart for help.

He knew Dart had no real stake in Streaker's escape, but he knew Dart cared about his geology experiment. Dart's excavating drone was not in place yet, and the measurements were to be taken by the long ship. The ship took off early, there would be no experiment.

Dart was very responsive when he was told that they needed to delay the ship so that the experiment could be done, though his enthusiasm dampened immediately when Toshio asked Dart to climb a tree to look around. (Dart did not care for the sterotype that chimpanzees were excellent tree climbers.)
