This is an animation running cycle I did around..... I want to say november, but I'm thinking more like december, I don't exactly rememember when I did it, but I know I made it a while back
Once I get the Animated Music Video finished, you will be able to see this running cycle about three to four times in a video of mine that I will upload to Youtube!
I am Purrlstar there, same as here
This is Thunderpaw, he is another warriors OC of mine, hey wait a minute... dosn't he kind of look like Coltpaw? like, enough to be.... related? *shifty eyes*
I hope you like it! it took me around eight hours to make the whole thing, from sketch to lineart to coloring to shading to adding the blood, and no bathroom breaks xDD
I didn't use flash to make this, I used Gif Animating on my Gimp program, just for refrance ;3
Also, for those of you who don't know, all my artwork is mouse-drawn

this animation is part of a bigger amv, so its supposed to be thunderpaw running away after having killed someone, hence his paws are bloody from the previous kill!

all you need to do is resize it and the kb file and possibly make it white so others could make onw

wow, you are a very skilled animator. would you be willing to make a short animation, maybe a loop, to enter into an AMV about a character named Oakfire, that includes lots of different peoples short animations of him and his story! if you did, we would give you a proper share of the credit!

Had he killed his brother? Is that why his paws are red? XD my made up Bloodclan cat is Starlight! After Snake and Ice was driven off, Starlight becomes leader then Starclan agrees Bloodclan is a real clan! XD one of Purrlstars made up Bloodclan cats can be Starlights deputy. I think Starblood would be a good deputy!

In the video he just killed a random rouge who had attacked him, so that's why his paws are red.
I'd rather not join stories like that if you don't mind, but Starblood is already the deputy of BloodClan anyways ;D

what do you use to animate? i mean both things like... photoshop and do you put it together with something like movie maker?

I use a free program called GIMP to draw all of my pictures, I do own photoshop elements, but the only picture I have ever drawn with that program is Stone In The Rain and you can find that in my gallery.
I use Windows movie maker for all my animations up on my youtube account, although I just reccently got a new program called Pinnacle that I have started all my new unfinished animations with.
all of the animations in my gallery however, where made only in GIMP; for any program that has layer capability if you save the file as a .gif a window will come up asking if you would like to turn your picture into an animation, using each layer as a frame in the animation.

I'm glad you like it, I would do that but just shrinking this little spinny icon I have now took about an hour, and this running cycle has way more frames than this one. besides, I promised my friends that once I get tired of having phoenix as my icon I'd make some linked icons with them 83

Well, yes and no. quite a long time ago I used to draw on paint and try to make animated movies and such so that I could put them on my youtube account, but I have only done four running cycles, and this my fourth.
You could say it's my first if you like, because it is the first one that I didn't refrence at all on, and added the whole cat, and colored/shaded all the frames, before this one the others where either just paws, or only lineart without faces, or even just sketches.
When I say no refrence, I mean I didn't look at any pictures of cats, or any pictures of cats running. or looked at any sill frames.
I think there are eight frames in that running cycle, I don't remember exactly because I did it a while back, so I'll have to go count if you want the exact numbet. Although I'm pretty sure its around eight or nine. :3
