Grimm Brother's fairy tale? I must add that it came to Serbia!
But I must ask you - why extinct? Are you trying to tell that wishes can't get true if you just be yourself? X)

The Bremen Town Musicians...well known here in America. I have the Grimm Bros. Translated fairy tale book, and I wouldn't part with it.
This is a neat concept, using extinct species in place of donkey, dog, cat and rooster. Well done artwork! And Congrats on the DD!

excellent work
and the tale is known by me, if not necessarily "here"
my literary tastes are somewhat esoteric for the community!

Its species name is thylacine. Tasmanian wolf or Tasmanian tiger. To make the answer more detailed for you. They were very interesting creatures. Marsupials, even!

I heard of this fairytale!
I did an etching project on it in art!
^_^
Ooh, and nice style!
Love how you replaced each character with a corresponding extinct creature.

He, he, cool gemacht. Ich hab mich schon immer gefragt, wie diese Viehcher auf die Idee gekommen sind, einen Packt einzugehen, anstatt sich gegenseitig aufzufressenβ¦

A very original take.
Heh, just the Sabertooth would be able to beat the burglars by itself.

One of my favorite fairytales - such a different rendering - it is known rather well in the US - I read it to my son quite a few times.

What a clever idea. Though it has been a long time since I read the story, it does bring back a sense of nostalgia. I like the species you chose to substitute for the donkey, dog, cat, and rooster.
