Description ^^^
Lazy title is...well...

But anyway. I've yet to draw Cherry (Or Hightide for that matter)  Doing the thing they're good at. For Cherry its writing. She's a freelance journalist who can cover just about any topic from popular sport events to magical crime investigation.  Of all of Dash's children (If I decide to include Summer)  Cherry is easily the smartest though she'll sometimes act like a brute.  There have been some awkward moments between Cherry and Rainbow Dash, when Rainbow takes time to embrace her nerdy side by entering whatever Equestria's version of NaNoWriMo is, and asks Cherry to proof read for her...ooooh boy.

Cherry's writing style is upfront and blunt.

She doesn't believe in unbiased journalism, just informed journalism

Also a quick note on the typewriter. I know that in the show they actually showed what a pony typewriter looks like. TWO BUTTONS. Right.  I know its because ponies have no way of typing anything with a regular 50-something key typewriter, and that just two big fuck off buttons is probably meant to be a joke.  I mean seriously do ponies type in morse code? (horse code, lol)

Or maybe ascii/binary but then one sentence is thousands of 1s and 0s.

Maybe Equestrians have a very simplified alphabet? I haven't really given this much thought. The most discussion I've seen on the matter is in the comment section of this picture here:  derpiboo.ru/563716?scope=scped…

While I do like this picture. I'm not satisfied with how Cherry is sitting in the chair. She looks like she's sliding out of it. Hopefully the next time I draw a pone sitting in a chair, I won't make that mistake.

If her grammar is as bad as mine, then poor Cherry has her work cut out for her.

heh...I always fail at Nano...because I spend too much time editing myself. XD  I know you're not supposed to do that during Nano...but I can't ever seem to stop myself. XD

i honestly have never tried Nano. For me it'd be a hopeless endeavor.

It's mostly hopeless for me too.  I've never finished in time, but...I guess I'm a glutton for punishment or something. XD;  And hey, I have half a novel from the 6 years or so I've attempted it, so...

the writing experience itself is rewarding. And who knows. you might strike upon an idea you can actually publish.

The problem with the chair is that Cherry is sitting on its edge and the chair is at a different angle from her body.

As for a 7-key typewriter, it's possible that each letter is made out of 7 components, much like early scripts using the Latin alphabet. Observe this famous page: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
If you zoom in you can see that many letters, especially i, n, m and u all use the same penstrokes, the only difference is in how they connect. Other letters can be very hard to tell apart, such as in the second word of the first line under the all caps (it reads "ingear" in the modern alphabet). The e and the a and the r almost blur together, if you didn't know what you were looking for, then it'd almost look like an e, a squashed t, and an upside down h followed by a little hooked thing.

With some simplification and magic machinery, you could take such a system of standard penstrokes and apply it to a 7-key typewriter. You could even write in our alphabet with it!

Kek we wen't over this for hours, and then two random people came up with more reasonable ideas.  As reasonable as a horse typewriter could ever be at least.

Bruh you have no idea how much I love Cherry. I just love her design, personality, eeeverything.

As for how she's sitting, her pose is fine, but I think she's sitting a weee bit too far on the edge, maybe next time you could center it more?

Heh yeah, the damn chair. Maybe I can make up an excuse. Sometimes I sit with my ass hanging halfway out of chairs......ok bad excuse!

But I'm very glad you like her!!!
