My opinion on that episode, and the character of Zephyr Breeze are mixed. But for the most part I like him, I just think his writing could have been more on point. I'm not the only one who got the "god emperor Kuzco" vibes off the guy especially when he was in the forest (Was that the Everfree? He's either apocalyptically stupid or has balls of steel) But anyway these two ponies you see above are the results of me watching the episode several times.

They are not siblings just to make that clear.

Icarus: Son and love child of Zephyr Breeze and his highly on again/off again girlfriend Tree Hugger. In my head-canon they were dating for a long while and is partially the reason why Zephyr never found time to apply himself. Not that Tree Hugger is abusive, but to Zephyr she was intoxicatingly distracting. Literally and Figuratively an escape from his insecurities. Good for Zeph in all the wrong ways. Despite their non stable relationship they still got busy, thus Icarus was born. How that worked out for them is yet to be seen.

Icarus doesn't share his parent's interests in hair therapy or chakras. He is very much into airships and how they are built. Grows up to become an Airship Engineer. Fancy talk and Techno-Babble are his bread and butter, he loves to tinker with gadgets but still has some of his mamas tree hugging ways instilled in him. Icarus has Ptosis in one eye from diabetes.

Cutie Mark: Not shown but will probably be a spider.

Pepper Jack: The crackiest crack baby ever to be cracked. But I did want to make an Applebloom kid and here she is. Meet Pepper Jack (named after her aunti AJ), daughter of Applebloom and...Link!

Pepper has a job as a Search and Rescue Officer/Park Ranger in the Equestrian wilds. She uses her trusty grappling hook to reach high places. Her basic personality is: loves adventure, loves the outdoors, crazy prepared. I was going to name her Hookshot PandamoniYUM told me to name her Pepper Jack and I liked that more.

Omg when I saw Link Pony I was so happy. Finally a cameo that made sense! Derpibooru they made a huge fuss about his name as it seemed proper to give him a real name and not just call him Link. So they settled on Quarter Hearts. I was a bit "meh" about that so I'm calling him Hitch. (A synonym of link) Hitch and his family are from the kingdom of Haylia.

Basic idea behind the pairing is that AB gets her cutie mark in building/engineering. Hitch's family are all woodworkers, engineers, construction ponies, pottery makers (or breakers), and/or traveling merchants. So when AB needed an apprenticeship she fit right in. There she met Hitch and they became close friends. Of course it is a period of several years before they consider each other a romantic possibility, though Applebloom might have fostered a crush on Hitch for a good long time.

Cutie Mark: N/A. Maybe, possibly a Swiss Army Knife
