Description
Colored panel 1 from Caron the pituitary Melusine. I did this as a script for scripting class, but then my professor asked about my despription of Caron in panel 1, so I drew this. The work is done completely in coloured inks. This is the panel where the plastic surgeon first spies Caron with its golden pill (it turns out to be an egg that hatches inside him). It's all bedecked in its Lovecraftian Deep One glory. (I say it because Caron and its mate are actually hermaphroditic) Caron is technically a melusine, not a mermaid, having a more snake-like tail (which defines melusine: snake tail, dangerous).
