Love the composition and those three feathers at the top; they look wispy and wonderful. However, it reads as really stark: black frame, white middle, black core. I'd like to see some crazy hatching or something to create a stronger (50-60%) gray on those stones/feathers/fish scales underneath his feet to draw your eye from the edge into the center. Making some gaps in the background feather (like you have on one on the left side) might also work there.

I know! I took it for granted that class- or housemates would be right there for critique. My parents are lovely, but not so good for art stuffs. Ho well.
I'm working part time over at JoAnn Fabrics now. Hooray for employee discount on mini-comic supplies! Santa book's going to be published through Lulu. Going to the Baltimore Comic Con this weekend; we'll see if anything comes of that. : )

Life on my end sucks. I hate all of my classes and most of my friends moved out of the dorm I stay in, adding lonliness. I have to go to school as an observer/student teacher, and then come back to SCAD for classes on top of that long day. The school I am observing is an hour away. But I'm keeping my head up. ^-^
