I really enjoy seeing how things are made, so even though I didn't document all the stages properly, I thought I'd post a process/bad tutorial picture.

1 - I sliced up pieces of cardboard, bent the stiffness out and taped them together around my head cast to form the shape.

2- Cut open the sides so I could get it off and on without ripping or discomfort. And to cover the inside with tape to make it more durable. Then put it back on and covered it with paper mash and magazine paper.

3 - I painted it white and sliced open the face with a knife, then glued the pantihose fabric to the inside of the mask.

4 - Painted the inside of all the flaps black with acrylic paint.

5 & 6 - In the end I glued the rough edges down to get the graphic look I wanted.
