Description
This is a custom, one of a kind White Tiger Megazord from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. This figure was made using the original White Tigerzord toy, a 10 inch Gundam, and hands from a Transformers Optimus Prime.
In warrior mode, the Megazord stands at 10 inches tall and has 22 points of articulation (in comparison to the original's 2).
*Warrior head is on a ball joint
*2 points in shoulder, 1 swivel in bicep, 1 at the elbow, and 1 swivel in the forearm.
*Hands are on a ball joint and have individually moving digits
*Waist
*4 points in each leg
The figure was given a new paint-job with both spray and acrylic paints.
Yes, it can transform into Tiger mode. I chose to remove it's ability to combine with the Thunderzord Assault team because I would never display as such, it would remove all articulation I put into it, and avoiding paint rub would be near impossible.
Reproduction stickers were purchased from Reprolabels.com
Any comments and criticisms are welcome.

Seeing an old Power Rangers toy used in such a creative manner that actually helps pay tribute to the show is so touching. The fact that you were able to do this proves that not only are you honoring the show but you are also honoring yourself with such ingenuity. The care that you took in making sure that each piece fit perfectly together and each piece doesn't show any signs of scuffing, damage or wear and tear from the years you owned the toy help convince me that you truly loved your toys and that is always a pleasure to hear. All around well done on this and thank you for your tribute to a classic TV series. I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Don't cry. As mentioned before, the Tigerzord I used came from a flea market. It was used, abused, and yellowed horribly. It would never held a place in someone's collection like that.
Thanks for the compliment!

I really wish that Bandai actually put out toys like this. Transformers has this down pat, why can't Bandai?

Why is removing the brick hands a problem when I gave it ones that can turn at the wrist and each finger can move?
Most people would say that that's better...

Well, perhaps you should have given more consideration to the design then.
By the way, are those Gundam joints tight? I'm going to have to replace the ones on my Megazord with the hip joints from a G.I. Joe figure when I get a spare one to butcher because I cannot get the Gundam ones to stay tight.

Not enabling the Tigerzord to combine with the thunderzord assault team was a heavily weighed decision that did not come about without much thought. My goal here was to make a super articulated Megazord mode and I definitely believe I did that.
The problem with the original figure is that it sacrificed articulation in favor of a combining gimmick. For this endeavor, I wanted to improve where the original failed. Allowing the griffin and unicorn zords to attach would cut all movement that had been added in the legs. Additionally, purchasing the assault team and their respective reproduction stickers would have been at least another $100 added to the project.
Of course, you could just attach any assault team to it but I would have wanted to paint them and put new stickers on them so the Mega Tigerzord could have a cohesive paint scheme.
I do have plans to make another tigerzord that will be able to combine with the assault team.

There should be a way to have both articulation and combination, is what I was suggesting.
You didn't answer my question about the joints, by the way.

All of the extra joints (arms, waist, legs) came from a 10 inch gundam. I've had no problems with them.

Huh. The ones in my Megazord's hips won't stay tight no matter what I do. I'm probably going to have to chop up a G.I. Joe.

Absolutely! Tiger mode is a little bit longer because of the added torso but it still looks pretty good.

One the one hand it looks amazing.
On the other, you butchered a Tigerzord to make this.
So confused. *looks over at my tigerzord in display case* I like you just the way you are.

If it makes you feel any better, I rescued this Tigerzord from a flea market. It was horribly yellowed, the majority of the stickers were ruined, and all the removable parts were missing. I like to think that I gave the figure a second chance at life and an opportunity to be part of someone's collection.
