Finally started! Link's Blacklist over at [link]Guardian (earth type). Sketch so far but plan on finishing it very soon.

argh! so much detail! almost done! Finish tomorrow with color.

Ugh, so much color theory to bang out on this one. Taking a while but it's getting there...not done yet.

How to make the Guardians worse for Link: make them giants. Β They may still defeat him in one hit, but they'll have a much greater reach.

Dear Nayru this is almost scarier than the real thing!!! the lighting and composition is beautiful, and I really like the red glow on the sword. I do wish there had been more of the orangey glow in the background that the Silent Realm has when these beasts of sheer terror wake up, but otherwise this is simply fantastic!

Wow! this is really epic! I like how you captured their immense size compared to Link. and your design for them makes me like them so much more than in skyward sword. These are the sorts of guardians i would expect to see from the Gods to put in the Silent realms.

thanks so much! this was a really fun piece to re-concept. Links Blacklist 3 is getting set up and I'll be working on Levias next. It will be a challenge to figure out the composition for that one being as enormous of a creature it is.
