I never could get my hands on a raptor model that I wanted. But I noticed how diverse the Dragon III was, so I really started playing with the shape. This was the result of my first test. He may still have some dragon features, but I thought it was getting pretty close to a raptor.

Also this was a test in LuxRender. Lux renders some amazing and realistic renders at the expense of hours of rendering. With the small image size and nothing fancy like glass, this render took 17 minutes before I stopped it. I should have let it go longer, but I said 'good enough'.
