Description
Finally figured out the Uber environment light. I didnt know how it worked, I thought it just made a big ball in the scene. I didnt think to go INSIDE the thing *facepalm*Some touchups in photoshop on the belly. The high detail and belly morph made a grid on his lower gut. Fixed that as best I could with the healing brush.
Not sure why the ground came up so splotchy, I tried making it better, but it didnt work. Dont know why.

Are getting better~
The one thing that sort of throws me off still is the low resolution textures compared to the higher resolution dinosaur as well as not much "clutter" on the streets. Some freebies might help with that, and as for the buildings... Well I don't know how D|S handles texture mapping otherwise I'd suggest grabbing a higher resolution industrial texture somewhere (Another product or a freebie from say CGTextures) and setting it to cubic mapping and increase the tiling.
As for the grid pattern on the belly.... I've never once seen that happen. That'd definitely be a question for the DAZ forums
Increase the smoothing? D:
Not sure....

And I bought the forest (the second one that you showed me) but for some reason the textures and bump maps wont load. I dont really know what to do about it. I submitted a help request, so hopfully they will fix the problem.

That's too bad
I hope the issue gets resolved soon. What exactly is going wrong? Will they not show up at all? Can you load them manually? SOmetimes some creatures I have (Like this recently added and handsome dragon) does not load the bump map when I open it and NEVER loads the specular maps. Only the color (Diffuse) maps. I have to load the bump/specular/displacement by hand.

I actually dont think I have the textures at all. I tried looking for them, but all I have is the data and the scene preset. When I hit load there is a pop up that says, "Cannot find (texture name)". I hit stop asking and the scene loads with everything white. I asked for a zip file with the textures, I know how to move stuff manually.
So I dont think I got the textures when I bought it.

Did you download all the files from your account? Maybe you missed one.

There was only one file, a DAZ installer. Would a poser installer work?

(This would once again be a good thing to ask in the forums~)
There typically is only the installer. DAZ doesn't seem to do ZIP/RAR files, only installers. Unless you downloaded the MAC version when you're on PC or the PC version when you're on a MAC, it should work fine.
The textures would end up being sorted under Runtime/Textures. (Using Ancestorelic's free "alien worm" Tetradactylus poser figure as an example: \Runtime\textures\Ancestorelic\Tetradactylus )

Yeah they SHOULD be under textures, but their not. There are no textures intalled anywhere. I tried searching the libraries for forest, and there are no textures, bump maps, geometries, poses, or anything else that belongs in the runtime folder.
Daz does offer zip files, they are starting to switch to zip files. This one didnt have one.

Corrupted installer maybe? A few folks were just talking about the installers screwing some things up - but it was usually just installing them in the wrong location.

I installed it to my library like everything else.

I fixed the low resolution of the street by adding the skydome object. It has a much better texture. But for some reason it didnt work this time.
I think the grid is just having a large morph plus a high detail, so smoothing might help. But photoshop does a good job of getting rid of it.
