Yep, another 80's cartoon redesigned. This time I was influenced by Batman the Animated Series and in particular the He-man cartoon from a 2004 i think it was. I felt the style of those two would be good to apply to Visionaries Knights of the Magical Light, one of my fave cartoons, and modernise the characters yet stay as faithful to the originals as possible.For Witterquick i had alot of influences, such as Iron-Man, The Dark Knight and Guyver, and just wanted to make him sleek and speedy looking. Took alot of sketches to thrash out the design, especially the helmet. And yeah I know I used my cheetah from my Beast Wars Cheetor pic but hey i drew it so who cares! Whilst there's nothing wrong with the design per se, I confess that I think I prefer the original design for Witterquick.
Most of the Spectral Knights and Darkling Lord's armour had a sort of "found materials" look to it, the sort of things that had been bashed together out of abandoned bits of now-defunct machinery. This looks a little too much like a custom designed costume, if that makes sense.

I don't remember most of the character names now, but I like your design of... Witter quick, apparently
Than again, he was one of my favorites from the series anyway
I did like the evil forces more... can't remember the names, as I said, but Sinbar comes to mind especially... they had cooler, helmet designs than Leoric's forces
