Well diarrheal is a likely candidate for infection but it is really un-likely that poo would have AIDS 
so there you have it! if you need water and you are thinking of squeezing out water from elephant poo take note of any blood before doing so.

they actually do that here in Australia they send the waste to a treatment plant drain all the water get rid of the nasty virus's then send the water out. they don't actually make food from it.....yet anyway.
