I think that this piece is beautiful. People say to me, for whatever reason, that fanart "isn't art, just the product of idiots who refuse to draw real things." This disproves it in one fell swoop.
Anyway, onto the actual critique.
VISION: This takes an iconic image of an iconic character and brings it to life in a new appearance.
ORIGINALITY: DeviantART is swimming with vectors. However, one in a style like this is something I had yet to see.
TECHNIQUE: I don't know what you did to Gordon, but I like it. I like it a lot.
IMPACT: I cannot say how this looks in grammatically correct words, so have this:

OVERALL: Wonderful! For whatever reason, the text on Gordon's head reads "ordon freeMAN." I assume that this is either my computer or an oversight of yours, so I did not treat that as a flaw like others might have.
