SAFARI DAY!
As you know Safari Park is a place where Pokemon live peacefully. The project is to make these Pocket Monsters look more realistic, with a bestial appearance. I added a Monster Hunter-like icon, because this is typically what I would add in the monster description!

Vespiquen is also a failed insect design attempt. Gosh, what the hell is this? A black striped abdomen resembling an elegant ballroom gown? Seriously?? But it turned out to be pretty cool when you add some details!

This is an amazing picture, with a unique look at the bee pokemon, vespiquen.It is very, very detailed, the fur is incredible, and the eyes are fantastic! It's like I'm looking at a close up of a real bug. The wings are awesome, almost real! The annteni are a lovely touch, they make it all the more realistic. You have done an excellent job with this picture, it is amazing, you are a very talented artist. In the end, the detail work, the lovely shading, and the idea itself, cause me to give this picture 10 out of 10, great job!

Like I said, I like taking some designs I find not pretty great and rework everything, and thought it might be interesting to make a close-up version of the Vespiquen's head
I like drawing insects, and I like to add quirk at some point of the drawing process^^

I've seen a couple of artist's doing similar close-up shots of Vespiquen's head, focusing on the little details here and there (usually the gem), but yours is by far my favorite.
