Nibiru (also called Marduk in Akkadian), was the Babylonian name of a late-generation god from ancient Mesopotamia and patron deity of the city of Babylon.It is also the second name given to the planet Jupiter, and there's some mystery around these 2 stories: We don't know lots of things about the deity and some prophecies tell the spoken planet and the Earth will collide in 2012.
I don't believe this at all but I found interesting to make a drawing inspired by these stories, and I'm gonna use it for the video game I'm working on ^^

Well thanks for the constructive comment but here comes a factoid for you: Nibiru is the akkadian name of Jupiter, also another name of the god Mardouk himself. I'm not saying it's the planet itself (even though it is, obviously), but this is a litteral translation for my own story.
Now there are theories about a mysterious Planet X or other speculations about Nibiru being the northern star a Draconis, but nothing has really been confirmed.
Now if you look closely, you'll see my artwork is featured in the "Game Development" section, that means my drawing isn't meant to be historical but pretty much personal.
I love astrophysics you know, I definitely know what I'm talking about. I hope your mind is clear now.
