Green day - Wake me up when September ends

Yaaay first submission! Simple and sweet.

I just wanted to make something, wasn't sure where it would go, I know that it's not all pretty and painted like most of the great photomanipulations out there but I just wanted it to look more real, though the forest is meant to be magical Did do a lil painting (if you could call it that) with the hair and dress but I really can't paint to save my life, something I'll have to keep practicing and working on, photoshop can be so complicated xD

thanks to the great stock artists:

A great picture and good title especially since it was uploaded near the end of september
I love the butterflies and the little twinkles which looks like they are being created by the butterflies.
This is a very interesting picture as the butterflies suggest it is a happy picture, but when you look at the girl she seems to have a tear running down her eye.
Also there is a love heart carved into the tree trunk on which she is resting and another part of the lyrics to the song is "drenched in my pain again.....as my memory rests, but never forgets what I lost"
Almost like there are some mixed emotions in the picture

this is an old one, where did you even find it Thanks for your comments though and that's clever, I didn't know I did that, I just uploaded haha I like how your interpret this, very clever but in all honesty I wasn't working with the song I just had the idea and made the picture, then I thought they worked well together, it wasn't intentional I don't even know the emotions in this piece, longing and forlornness? Do butterflies suggest happiness? I think they work well with portraying beauty, longing and a sense of loss mostly. 'll have to try that. Thanks again, I really appreciate all your support and kind words
