Daily Deviation Edit: I had a higher rez, newer file that I uploaded when I got the DD. The old one is in my scraps.
thanks everyone!was playing around in zbrush to do some renders. Gun is 90% modeled, mostly tweaks are needed to fix it up.
the gun is a grenade launcher as well. The grenades are housed in inside the outer bullet ring of the clip.
both projectiles are propelled faster when the barrel of the gun is filled with a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen causing the bullet to travel at much faster speed.
the guns stock extends and the internal mechanical workings and timing mechanics are under the main armor flap, gun settings are under the smaller flap.
the gun premise is similar to a Tommy gun, but because of the high accuracy, the stock can be extended and a tactical stand can be slid out to snipe long range.

So mostly, I think the only problems are the bullets and sight, not like a delicate weapon, but rather something that spits bullets, but remains in the middle.

The gun is definitely not a one handed gun. The sight is meant for a last resort, the head would be cocked over it, almost sideways to use it. The main function of the sight is that it hooked up to a camera (which will be shown in a future project of mine). The bullets are encased in a plastic magazine as to not hurt the user. the reload can be a problem though. the grenade launcher ammo is plenty (six) so you should never be concerned about that and when you reload you just dispose of the extra. the reload process is robot assisted (again my next project will show). Looks fun but heavy to use, but it's a grenade launcher and a machine gun for a reason. Is this melee-capable when it comes to CQC? With a shell like that I bet it'd cause one hell of a concussion.

hmm I don't think it has much in the way of CQC. i guess the nade shells can be replaced with an array of 6 shotgun shells per blast /shrug

Hmm though the design does indeed look like a close-quarter pounder. Maybe the shotgun idea is better, but think that might be too much punch for a short weapon like that? Looks like it's one-hand suitable to me.

it's a little heavy for one hand, i put a grip under the larger barrel for support. although it's original intention is to be held in one hand with robotic support.

Could be lingering original sentiments when you designed it with that intent in the beginning, due to its compact, sturdy look I might've gotten that impression off of. My apologies if I seem to be overly curious about the nature of this gun.
