This drawing is part of the series of Blackhaven Anomalies. This series illustrating the general threats, hauntings, and strange occurrences that plague the dark corrupted world of the alternate Blackhaven Institution.

Trapped in the orphan wing during the day of the fire, many closed eyes never opened again to the world that they once knew, wrapped under the solace of the white cocoon... Now they litter the various rooms preserved in the corruption. Writhing in the same sheets used to the escape the chaos of the burning world that was once around them, they have now become one with it. Expressions of their tormented existence press again the sheets of a cocoon that they can no longer emerge from. Some have never moved since the moment of their end, while some have emerged from their resting places to walking around blindly in a state of suffering. In the presence of these anomalies, those bound to their bed remain for the most part still, though occasionally they lash out with their long arms or prop themselves up if they feel a presence move by them. Those that walk around are relatively passive, only reacting with expressions of their miserable state through motion and sound as they walk around wrapped under piss stained sheets. Beware of those who tower above the rest... In the end hiding in their cocoons could have done nothing to protect them from the fire and here the shock and pain of this inevitable end hidden under the sheets has becomes their cross to carry.
