This is artwork for encounter #16 of the encounter short stories for my horror series Blackhaven Institution which is written below. The day Blackhaven Institution a house for orphaned children and unwanted infants burned to the ground mysteriously, the souls of those trapped inside became corrupted by an evil that warped them into demons that dwell in an alternate Blackhaven Institution. There they await those who are dragged into this alternate world by an unknown evil. From encounter #13 onward will take place during a brief period of severe corruption...The nightmare is taken to the next level of severity, the situation becomes even more chaotic thus affecting the environment and demons as the corruption becomes unstable. Instead of one and a sudden influx of victims from concentrated areas become trapped in this nightmare all at once! This encounter with the demon “Phillippa " takes place in the "Orphan Wing" as follows:

  My thoughts are in a jumble, my mind is in a haze... The last thing I can sort of remember was these two chicks at the frat party on the dance floor. There was this extremely drunk white one and this hot Asian chick but after that everything went black. Its also hard to think straight when your wheezing and choking on the floor, thinking about why your doing so in the first place. I'm soon able to get to my feet, breathing air with a mysterious unpleasant taint to it. Rubbing my eyes, the surroundings are in a colorless grey blur. Looking down at my hands they're lot paler then I remember them to be.I honestly don't know what to think, I don't remember drinking to much or maybe I did, I don't remember going to sleep, was that party maybe a dream? I normally don't go to those. My head was aching pretty badly causing me to stumble onto a nearby bed. Landing on top a layer of a filthy disperses into the air. Filling my lungs and expelled from my mouth I gag on the abhorrent taste of the dark filth. My clothes are now filthy, the dingy dark coloring reminding me of soot. I'm in a long room with dingy beds like this one scattered throughout. The condition of this place is absolutely horrible, there is a mess of debris and other objects everywhere. Something feels very off about this place and the vibe I'm getting from it right now is very uncomfortable. Its very unfamiliar and I can't figure out where I am, it could be another part of the college but I wouldn't think such a room exists. I think I am alone here until I notice something moving at the farside of the room.

  Its to dark to make it out from where I am but it seems to be shorter than I am. I'm very hesitant and nervous to call out to it as I have no idea who or what it could be. As I slowly get closer it starts to become more clear. From behind a seemingly normal little girl rocking slowly on a rocking horse. I didn't want to get to close and surprise her so I called out to her a few times, but no response. I walk slightly past her and turned around to see a face riddle with a solemn expression, staring so blankly as if not noticing I am even here. I stood there for maybe a few minute unsure of what to do. So I put on a smile to maybe ease the tense vibe but then little girl's eyes stared directly at me in an instant. Her gaze was very unsettling, it appeared as if she was frozen still and the horse was rocking on its own. I began to backstep slowly talking to myself as she was unresponsive. Though her gaze still locked onto on me. The rocking of her horse soon picked up in speed as I noticed she began to grasp the handles of her toy tighter. At this moment time seemed to slow and almost phase out completely. My vision clouded, the little girl was in a distorted motion blur as I saw bright light appear on the beds. Then I saw a few images I couldn't make sense out of... These included a man standing close behind a horse, an image of the girl with a distressed expression rocking on her toy horse behind a window sill, and lastly a crazed looking woman offering a bowl of some sort of stew. Then I heard this disturbingly deep vicious groan, with it these brief flashes ceased. My vision slowly unclouded itself as I tried to make out a strange black figures on the beds in from of me as crackling and popping noises filled my ears. On top of the brightly lit bed the blurry dark figures soon became clear, also the girl who was in front of me soon became clear...Time itself sort of went back to normal. At this moment my mind emptied, my thought process stopped. All I could do at this moment was watch in horror, my mouth unable to close, my eyes unable to shut...

  Before me now the room set ablaze, fires burning on each bed, small disfigured humanoid figures trapped inside of the flames. Writhing and wailing in a way that brought only about a heavy sense of sorrow, an atmosphere of suffering. From them a lingering scent of burning flesh amounted to sickness in my core. Yet in front of me, the girl??? It can't be, it can't, it can't be... What stared at me now was no longer human, nothing of any world I thought possible, a monster... As the heat of the flames brazed my skin I lost control, an inner instinct kicked in, and all I was capable of now was to turn and run, screaming for no other reason than absolute terror. I couldn't look back as I ran down a dark decaying hallway. I only turned my head both ways to look for a possible escape, only to lay my eyes upon disfigured childlike horrors running out of rooms beside me. Oddly enough they seem to be escaping from something as well. Through their horrid expressions I felt a feeling of distress among them as they stumbled and tripped amongst themselves. This hallway seemed endless as my body grew weary from running. All I can hear was the mixed distorted sounds of tortured beings besides me and the wailing cries of those who have fallen behind me, to meet some sort of horrible fate. Also from behind I could see the light from the flickering flames of our pursuer. I mustered to strength to turn around but suddenly I trip over something....

  I'm absolutely distressed, as I struggle to regain my composure I noticed what I have tripped over. A girl, a human, a somewhat familiar face. Someone I've seen maybe at our school's football games but did not know, but the one thing I was sure of was that she had legs before. Her torso howling for help dragged itself towards me. So many emotions I wanted to feel during this moment, I wanted to help but instinct wouldn't let me. With my pursuer close behind I continued on ahead trying to ignore the repeating high pitched desperate shrieks of “no, help, no, no, no!!!” in my wake. For even a moment I had a sinister thought, maybe that she could distract the monster that was pursuing me. But soon my luck ran out and without noticing right away I came face to face with a wall, a dead end... I started crying, I never cried so hysterically since I was a young child, I couldn't control it. The small disfigured horrors started to force there way and pile up behind me, dragging me to the ground. As I lay there on my side, though cocooned by these various horrors, I saw the real monster before us. A raging flame shooting out its head, an expression laced with malice, so unstable and afflicted, crackling so loud as if this being itself was going to erupt... They say before you die you have flashback of your life. But at this moment my mind was blank, my vision of nightmares. Soon the only thing I could feel was pain, a sudden combustion of fire consuming us. It was strange that in the end, looking into their disfigured horrifying faces I felt as if I was one of those small disfigure childlike horrors. Writhing and wailing amongst them as our bodies burned and melded together. Before the end, looking into their faces, it seem as if they did not understand their fate as much as I did not...
