#07 - "Monologue"If you can't tell where I'm going with this, you don't know me very well.
Here's a little explanation in the form of excepts from the Hall of Records:
'One thing that concerned Hoborg was that perhaps some of his beings would came out bad. He wanted to make beings which he could enjoy forever, but he did not want to force them to love and respect him. He decided that he would make his beings with the ability to choose right and wrong. Working everything out in his head, he figured he could make one child at a time and see if he turned out good before he started on the next.'
'Hoborg noticed, while being carried by Big Robot Bil, that Bil's chest had a switch inside it marked "good" at the present setting and "bad" on the other setting. Hoborg dared not find out what the "bad" setting did, but he thought it must be a poorly thought-out attempt at dealing with the same problems he had when he was planning the making of beings that were capable of doing right and wrong.'
Yes, this stuff is actually important to the plot.
There was a mistake that I didn't notice until it was too late where in panel 3 it looks like the crown appears from nowhere. And the last panel is meant to be a view from inside the crown itself, I don't think that's very obvious...

You really seem to be able to pick up on the parts that were hardest for me to do. ;D
Because I have to handwrite everything, I chose not to use speech bubbles, 'cause I knew they'd block out some of the frame and they'd be HUGE with my writing in there. And I had to go over this speech a few times to cut it down while still getting all the info in there... at least there wasn't anything in the background that I had to avoid.

Heh, it kinda sucks though, because i got the joke related to the fancharacter being weaker and smaller, hilarity ensues. And same here, the mistake wasn't noticed until you pointed it out. I did however catch the look inside the crown, but thats just from playing the game methinks. Oh well, I'm not that overcritical about details.
You're stuff is absolutely amazing! Did you already have some of these done, or do you do one every day? Thats a lot of dedication, and I applaud you!

I started doing these about 2 weeks ago, and waited until I had a few done before I uploaded them, because I wanted to see whether I was really going to be able to continue this idea before I started showing people. I liked how it was going and submitted one per day until I had caught up - which is where I am now. At this point I just submit them as soon as they're finished. New comics take about 2 or 3 days, depending on how much detail there is. (That was because I still had school to go to, however I did do a lot of drawing AT school, and now I've got revision to worry about, too. xS)

The plot is surly starting to pick up though, I'm anxious to see what happens next =o (though it would have helped if I had played the game I think <.<
