He didn't die! (I think.) He just fell off in space inside of BRB. I mean, almost the same happened when Otto's world fell apart and there Willie was, peace and save (not counting the wild beasts around him)! I'm sure he's okay, as long as he doesn't collide any rocks or planets or whatever floats in the universe.
