Description This was a tutorial request from a few months ago. I was lazy and didn't get to it until now. *Is shot*

Oh well, better late than never, right?

This tutorial goes over the basics of using a light source for your drawings. Granted, it's not the best tutorial, but I hope it helps.

I start off with drawing out the background first. The background usually denotes the light source(s) and will help keep your picture looking like everything belongs.

If you need to, on a separate layer, draw those light source lines. Circle your light source and draw lines coming off of it, where it would hit your subject. Doing so will help keep the lighting together!

If you have any more questions, just ask.

EXTREMELY useful!
I've almost finished a drawing using this tutorial, and its 75% better than it would have been without your guildlines!
