Description This is a tutorial I made for my Info. Tech. and Multimedia classes. This is how I've made my more recent planets, but the sun is something I came up with just as I was writing it. I know there are better tutorials out there, but it took me a long time, damnit, and it's huge! Anyway, hope it helps somebody, and for those who can't use it for anything, I'll be submitting something within the month that I'm quite excited about, so hopefully that'll be something to look forward to.

thank you, sir! it's something to start with, anyway. just muck around with it, and you can make gas giants and different densities of starfields and so on. you don't have to follow it word for word, and i'm not exactly the best at this, so maybe even avoid following it word for word anyway, glad you like it, and have fun!

this is good, but the light cast by the sun wouldn't reveal that much of the planet.

yes, hence the light on the side of the moon, which one would assume is another sun.
