This started as an avatar request for my cousin. Hi Kim! She said she liked Rion Vernon' s ( [link] ) pinup styled girls for AOL IM avatars but she couldn't find any that resembled her. I have been working toward a similar style to his (cuz he's one of my heroes) for a long time so I thought I'd take a crack. I hate cropping other people's avatars cuz you never get the framing right, so I drew her the whole image and let her pick what part she wanted to use for her avatar.I tried to capture a bit of her "essence" in the picture. Hope I did good.

Thanks, Amy. I think the reason I got no comments was that this was on the front page moments after the other and so very few people had the chance to see it. The purple one had a little more spotlight time.
