Wow. I have drawn and coloured something AND it has a background. OMFG! This was all drawn in Open Canvas 1.1. A good program but with its flaws. I so need to write my own version at some point.Anyways, on with the fluff:

Some gnolls do not wish to stick with the militaristic lifestyle of their platoon-tribes but they are not outcast. They are given the task of travelling the lands, experiencing the different inhabitants and reporting information back to the gnolls whenever they come in contact with a platoon tribe. The data will generally flow through the tribes until all have it.
Wanderers generally wish to blend in with those they study so they very rarely wear the gnollish military uniform. They also tent to become educated in different skills and cultures that they explore and thus they possess unconventional weapons sometimes along with a standard issue gnoll side arm.

pretty slick comrade, would be sweet if you would shade it, even the little shadow at her feet adds a lot.

i really like the coloring on the character. but i think the background need a little more detail, perhaps some tumbleweeds?

Hmm. Theres an idea. I'll see if I can put some in. Although editing will be hard. I onlu have the finished jpeg available becasue I am a noob at saving.

Nice draws. And nice drawers. You might address the fact that the tail seems to be passing through the cape, but maybe you know that.

There might be a secret hole for the tail to poke through... or it could just be the whimsical will of the gods trying to confuse our minds and understanding that has been shaped with many constraints such as petty logic and physics.
Or it could be a clipping error or an oversight on the artists part. Who know?

Dude, Pyro, That's pretty rad! The contrast between the neutral background tones and her clothing really make her stand out well. Like the backstory as well.
