Yi-An is a smart and sensible guy. But ever since he became a famous k-pop star he has had some ego problems, causing his narcissistic attributes. He is often referred to as King or "Your Highness" because of his tendency to act like royalty, which also inspired the name of his band "King's Court". He is quick to argue with people who don't appreciate his work, but overall he is charismatic and social with the general public. On stage, he acts very loving, loyal, and passionate, but normally he is very flirtatious and sometimes even slightly flamboyant.

However, the main reason he treats people like commoners and acts like a king is because he has a huge fear of being rejected. Han Yi-An was born in a small house relatively distant from any large cities. There, he grew up and lived with his younger sister, his birth mother, and his birth father. They lived a quiet and simple life, and everything was peaceful. His father owned a small bakery, and his mother had a dream of becoming a famous singer. She had a gorgeous voice, and would often sing for the bakery's customers. Everyone in the small town loved her singing. Yi-An followed in his mother's footsteps, and started to learn how to sing with his mother, who taught him everything she knew. When Yi-An was around 6 years old, he started performing in the bakery along side his mother. Their family was very happy.

One day, a very expensive and formal looking business man came into the bakery, having heard Yi-An's mothers singing from the outside. He was the owner of a large company, that also had a famous music label. He wanted to take Yi-An's mother and make her into a famous singer. Since it was her dream, she of course agreed. Yi-An's father didn't trust the man, but was happy for his wife who finally was experiencing her life long dream. Yi-An's mother worked very long hours at the label, and rarely ever saw Yi-An and his sister, and their father.

When Yi-An turned 8 years old, his mother had become famous, and obsessed with herself. In the end, she ended up having multiple flings with the company owner, and divorced with her husband so that she could marry him instead. There were many conflicts, and both children were severely scarred. The birth father wanted to take both children, and Yi-An desperately wanted to stay with his sister that he loved. However, the company's owner had come to take a liking to Yi-An's singing voice, and used his money and fame to take custody. In the end, Yi-An's birth father took his sister, and The company owner and Yi-An's mother adopted Yi-An and moved to the big city.

Yi-An hated his new step father, but still very much loved his mother. He searched within his mother for the caring and loving woman he used to know, that was now hidden by the famous conceded singer she was now. His mother no longer loved him, because he reminded her of her ex-husband. Yi-An was desperate to be loved by his mother and to be accepted as her son, but she refused to love him. Many years later, she passed away from a horrible illness.

Yi-An lived the rest of his life with his step-father, never seeing his sister or his real father again. He went to private schools instead of public ones because of his step-father, but he still managed to make lots of friends there. He met lots of people there who loved him for him, and they were precious to him. And no matter what, Yi-An still loved to sing. He sang songs that were full of heart and emotion, and touched the hearts of his listeners. However, his step father heard Yi-An's singing and forced him out of high school, and turned him into a famous musical idol. His father created King's Court (Yi-an's band) and made Yi-An the front runner, not giving the band any freedom. Yi-An was happy to be an idol and to be able to sing to a larger audience, but was unhappy with the small amount of freedom he had. He requested to also be a solo artist on the side, and to sing the way he wanted. His father agreed, but only because it would increase his fame even more.

To this day, Yi-An lives in an expensive pent house by himself, with a grand view of the city. His fame has grown like crazy, and is now a relatively famous Korean idol. He has a large fan base, and he loves his fans very much. He acts like a king and like royalty towards everyone, because its how he's most comfortable acting. He rarely ever shows his true self to others. He joined RFA because he needed something to do in his free time, and he loves to be social. He has a personal manager runs most of his life, but he has plenty of free time to work on RFA things, because of the fact that he only needs to go to a few social events and release a few songs per month in order to retain his popularity.
