No, you're wrong. Perfection is the most brittle of qualities one could ever chose to try and stand on. I may not be perfect, but if "him" is the one who hurt you, then I can say right out, right now, you need get back on your feet instead of looking at it upside-down.
Even with the pain, you can't let yourself wallow in it or deliberately pull others down. Instead, put your chin up, look forward, and let them help you up before you push yourself too far away.
I hope you don't think such foolish words are set in stone, Pheebs. It'd really disappoint me if that was true.
