Awesome. I've always loved working with pencil (haven't in a few years though). Most of the best stuff I did started out as a doodle on lined paper and then after 4 or 5 hours of "doodling", I'd end up with a portrait quality drawing....on lined paper. Any time I've ever tried to work on good paper and come up with something like this it turns out to be crap. Got great respect for you though. Very realistic. You make your own blending stumps? Surprising how many "artists" don't even know how to use one.

FINALLY i thought i was the only one who could only draw master pieces on notebook paper and couldn't even draw stick figures on a sketch pad.

Plain old graphite pencil - I do some charcoal, but pencil's still my favorite.
