It's rather disorienting, seeing yourself beside yourself. Fortunately, she's already halfway there, and won't have to put up with it for long. Of course, by then the extra arms will have finished growing in, and she'll have a whole new thing to get used to.
This one might require a bit of explanation. She's turning into a displacer beast, a D&D monster. Displacer beasts project an illusion that makes them appear as if they're a couple feet away from where they actually are. Her displacement field is kicking in as she transforms, making her displacer beast half appear shifted over from her still-human bits.
