[EDIT] - darkened the hair a little, to make it blend better with the shadowed side of the face.

A different kind of Dinotopia. One that involves transformation of some kind. Sounds interesting... I'd jump on a plane and go straight away.

Why they never made it back or just didn't bother to?

Damn wish the female raptor was naked. Pretty hot! You should totally make a female raptor like this naked. I love the realism. Its hot!

yeah the head is always the hardest part, when i do my manipulations i have a hell of a time making it look natural. Everything here looks great and natural except the aforementioned head/hair but with this manip i would have to say that it looks damn good regardless!

Some interesting photo manipulation. The hair looks like it needs to blend more with the head, or maybe just a tad darker?
Hard to say, though.

Yeah, I had a bit of a problem with the head on this one. The stock I used was the best forward-facing stock I could find without having to assemble it from bits and pieces, but it was lit with very strong natural light on one side, which was really hard to balance out. One of the downsides to being self-taught on Photoshop is not really knowing how to get the most out of all the little sliders and options.

Same for me on PS. And I took a semester with it! Its just that without regular projects and new ideas, a lot of PS can go away, because it is so big.
You are still getting a lot of effects from the tool as is.
