Crying in the Rain

Description
A Red Deer stag in the rutting season letting his voice be heard.The weather can't put me off, it was a little rainy, so I was sat under a tree this morning with my camera.
After much thought I've Re-edited using On1 Phototools 2.0 plugin for Photoshop.
I didn't want to do it after having a Daily deviation already with this shot, but I think I've improved the punchiness of the image.
If anyone disagrees let me know please.

This actually reminds me of a scene in the book Fifteen Rabbits, where a stately stag loses his dominance and right to mating to his rival, and his wail of anger, despondency and broken pride echoed throughout the forest..

Moose, elk, deer, etc...all those creatures' mating calls crack me up. I have a moose call hanging on my wall, its so much fun to play with.
