Description
A Red Deer stag in the rutting season letting his voice be heard.The weather can't put me off, it was a little rainy, so I was sat under a tree this morning with my camera.
After much thought I've Re-edited using On1 Phototools 2.0 plugin for Photoshop.
I didn't want to do it after having a Daily deviation already with this shot, but I think I've improved the punchiness of the image.
If anyone disagrees let me know please.

I didn't know you had the red deer in the UK
I like the falling raindrops and the sharpness. I never seen the rut of red deer in morning light, only at dusk...

sorry, the closest creatures we have to that in my country are tiny deer. Must be awesome to view such wildlife in their natural environment.

He's actually sitting down. He plonked down just before the rain commenced, just goes to show that animals can sense soo much more than us technological humans.
