After seeing a couple of Animal manipulations and reading this tutorial [link] by `mirrorkills , I really wanted to make my own hybrid. I chose the lion and the zebra because this makes a great title.
With Gimp, I had to use completely different tools than the tutorial suggested, had to stick to cloning, copy-paste and modifying cut-out pieces, alas. I want a warp brush!!!
If longer titles were accepted it would have been Libra - The balance of Predator and Prey
