I'm participating in 's week 29 challenge . This time we had to use Silver, the lovely =xNickixstockx 's pet rat Loved the image since I first saw iit some time ago

So...since our task was to make Silver human, I immediately thought of Terry Pratchett's novel "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents". I decided to pick up Sardines' idea of wearing a hat because it's cool. I was thinking about including the "Mr Bunnsy Has an Adventure" book but I decided it wouldn't fit.
Since rats are one of the more intelligent kinds of animals, I made him a detective with a mini magnifier
Now he's inspecting this suspicious table

edit:
I printed this picture for my aunt and realised that some parts look rather awkward. So, now I edited the picture to make it look smoother.
-Silver's facial hair blended badly with the background (I can't believe I didn't see it before uploading...). Took me ages to find out this was due to the lighting layers, but now it looks a lot nicer. I had the same problem with her left ear.
-I originally extended the table at the bottom and right side because the background picture was too small. Since the perspective of the "patch" picture was an entirely different one, it looked strange, even after blending it a bit. It looks rather natural now, I think (yes, I'm satisfied with it )
-some of Silver's right foot was hidden in the source image. I completed it but it still looked pretty stupid. Now, the angle and lighting are adjusted to her left foot and the extended part is a lot smoother.
-there were some minor mistakes which I also corrected
-my signature is now applied to a banana
