Description
gnopur gave gave me a challenge to better my drawing, do 25 sixty-second figure drawings. First session I didn't get the full 25 done, I got half way there before I needed to dash off and change a diaper. Still I got two pages/12 drawings in, so not an awful start.A minute goes by really quickly. I could get the manikin lines down and a few other details before the clock would run out. When I got back to my pencils I decided to go back over them and try to do an rough outline of the figure in purple; just as a check of how clear my manikin work was. When I went to take a photo so I could upload proof of doing the challenge, I couldn't see the light lines I did initially. I pulled out the sharpie to make them show up.

well done! i can see you really tried, plus it looks so much better than any of your previous attempts on people/characters and that's only a sketch! Keep it up and we'll see the magic happen soon

Hmm, I didn't think they looked that good, I could see some of my bad habits in a few of these. The poses are certainly more interesting than the ones I had come up with on my own. I'm probably a bad judge at this since once I spot problems in one of my drawings that's all I ever seem to see.
I'll do another round of these later on. I didn't plan on posting many of these, I didn't think looking at my practice work was all that interesting. I suppose you'll have to trust me that it's still happening.
