The Crystal Gems as Avatar benders!
Amethyst is an Earth bender. She was born from the earth and her fighting style is similar and she can be seen using her whip to hurl rocks at her opponent.

Pearl is a Water bender. Her fighting style probably imitates air bending more, flowing and dodging gracefully. Waterbending isn't based on strength and instead uses the opponents strength against them. And pearls grow in the sea, look a bit like the moon, and Pearl's temple is a water palace.

Steven is an Air bender. I didn't give him an arrow because he still isn't totally in control of his own powers. He is peaceful and defensive (his gem weapon is a shield) much like the air nomads.

Garnet is a Fire bender. She herself has the greatest tolerance for fire and heat (she can swim through lava) and her fighting style is similar to the fire benders, lots of punches and kicks that almost mimics it exactly. I also considered earth or lava bending for her but seeing her fight convinced me she was a fire bender.
