she started thinking about smth in the middle of.. not thinking.
i need to continue messing with this game rip model (i love Rikku but i m not confident enough yet to recreate her on my own), as you see she has inverted colours on her headband (i missed smth when re-importing material i guess), and as she has SAME texture for both clothes and skin (well, thats how stuff was made for games), it's painful. I hope i just need to edit UV layouts to separate materials.
and maybe i should try retopology because she is made from triangles and i can't smooth her right.

Hmm.. this 'tris vs quads' thing has always been strange to me.. both types of polygons are equally useful and smooth-able.. just with patience

I mean... When you have too many edges connected to one vertex ("stars"), that stuff gives trouble when smoothing. At least for what i was trying.
